[note: a little while ago the Lord put on my heart this poem in response to my reading and contemplation about Judas betraying Jesus. Our talented Tracy Rollins put it to music. My quiet devotional time has been enriched with this song, and I just wanted to share it with you. Only a sad, repentant heart aching for the Lord, which finds mercy and is so tenderly forgiven can understand the need for a Savior. It is only then that we are ready to reach out and be involved “for the sake of others.”]
